Pony Club - Starting April 2008
Our Pony Club is a great way for children who have reached a competent level to have a close interaction with a Centre horse or pony, offering both stable management and riding lessons.
Pony Club members attend our Centre one evening every week from 6pm to 9 pm where they enjoy a variety of activities comprising the following:
1 hour ridden instruction.
45 minute theory in preparation for their progressive riding tests and Pony Club badges.
1 hour 15 minutes practical session to include, grooming, stable management, tacking up, un tacking, and all the routine chores associated with looking after your own horse or pony.
Every month each student is assessed on their progress and parents or guardians are encouraged to attend a short discussion as to the future goals of the group and individual.
New members on registration with The Pony Club will receive their own personalised joining pack issued by The Pony Club.
Pony Club is priced at £22.00 per evening which is paid in advance at the start of each 6 weeks.
We do allow flexibility for those who cannot attend every week due to illness or family commitments, but as you will appreciate Pony Club is a group activity and requires a level of commitment from all involved to progress as a team.
